WAAAAAAAAAA wtf is everyone whining about, it is the third in a trilogy, nothing more than the continuation of a long story, why should it be completely different than the first two.  We have become spoiled at this point in gaming and are like children, wa it doesnt have enough new guns, wa it doesnt have as much scares as the first one wa fucxin wa.  Get over yourselves.

I somehow managed to read my way around that hash up and understand what in the blue hell you were on about..... A forum built to discuss gaming believe it or not contains many aspects of gaming and in the main people discuss their feelings towards a game.... If you intend to stick around further I'd get used to that idea if i were you..... I know you're kind, you wake up everyday and measure your genitals against a can of coca cola praying that the bulb has passed the rim of the can, we chat bubbles because it entertains us, embrace it sir and stop trying to measure up to the rest of society........ Relax!

we will see you in line on launch day just like everyone else that says they arent buying it. i lol at you people. such big talk on a forum when i know for a fact yall do exactly the opposite of what you say in real life....

I will buy the game alright, I haven't said otherwise, however if the demo is anything to go buy it will be lacking something other installments hasn't..... Of course I will be buying it, I'm the ultimate horror fan.......

From experience, I've always thought the demos for Dead Space never came close to representing the actual games for some reason. Though I can't comment on the DS3 demo since I haven't played it.

I'm not happy with repetition. Sporting titles are different, we have updated rosters, new player development and how far can you actually develop a winning sporting title? Games developers play it safe because the gen pop do not respond well to change.... Resident Evil 6 was a fine example, the game wasn't poor by any stretch of the imagination, however the game has lost it's roots (it started to do so in 5) it's no longer a survival horror, more of an interactive action adventure, the same seems to be happening with Dead Space. These games play fine and are entertaining however when we expect the same adrenaline buzz, genuine sense of fear we experienced in previous titles and we don't get that disappointment is imminent. Resident Evil 6 has promising aspects and I'm sure the same mistakes will not be made again (Leon's campaign had genuine aspects of survival horror, especially the first two acts, same can be said for the ada Wong missions, real Zombies are the way forward). Despite its flaws Dead Island is a fantastic game for building a genuine sense of fear, you could die at any time if not fully prepared, I like being kept on my toes, audio is fantastic, the sound of a groaning Zombie is immediately followed by a 360 degree sweep and a little prayer that a horde hasn't caught sight of you, Dead Island was fresh with aspects of previous RPG's (its fine to take inspiration from other games, Darksiders 2 proved this and hit the nail on the head). I respect anyone who tries to deter from the norm, another fine example, Deadly Premonition, one of the greatest stories with countless twists and turns of our time...... I will leave my rant there for now, but change is necessary otherwise you may be right Joker and a lot of our favourite genres may disappear in time to come.

An overwhelming feeling of disappointment for me I'm afraid, the fully customizable weapon feature is a nice touch but has the game actually progressed that much from the first instalment? I enjoyed Dead Space 2 because the novelty was still rather fresh, however to produce a third instalment which is reliant on the same key points which made its older brother so successful is no longer acceptable. The gaming industry has spoilt us over the last 15 years, visual and handling development has exploded onto our game consoles on a gargantuan scale, we have become difficult to please and unless significant change from one instalment to the next is made I fear our favourite genres will begin to whittle, I have no doubt our favourite game developers are plowing endless funds into NEW development's, just don't rely on a game engine which is almost a decade old to win you any future awards. Change Change Change!

The wow factor of Dead Space washed away quickly after the first instalment, if was a fresh, new idea to a genre that has struggled since Resident Evil 4 if you ask me. Survival horror simply isn't survival horror anymore, crank up the difficulty, intensify the atmosphere by making me genuinly believe I'm going to die as I open a new door or turn a corner, true survival horror is a dying breed, games like Dark Souls are flying the flag if you ask me, this is the direction we need to be heading, new ideas, broaden ones horizons! Too many classic games are getting the absolute flogging of their lives, these series which have produced numerous successful winning formulas are in danger of damaging their legendary status...... If they intend on making a Resident Evil 6, a Dead Space 4 or a Silent Hill follow up it needs to be brimming with new material, fresh ideas pissing from their blood soaked eyes which are clearly lost in the £ signs at the moment...... Transition period for gaming at the moment with the 720 on the horizon, for me the next gen console couldn't come quick enough.
