I dont think there is anyway that Spiderman 3 will be exlclusive to blu ray only.  Its financial suicide to not include the highest selling format for movies....ANd I cant think of one Sony movie that is on blu ray and not on DVD.  So You can quote me on this that spiderman 3 will  be available on DVD.

I think the main focus for sony since last year is BLU ray, and even this year is BLU ray.  Why sell a console with a blu ray movie included and not a game....Would make sense to give a free game with a console then a movie wouldnt you think??

i think this is one of sony's movies that will be exclusive on bluray. We all know that everyone and i mean everyone wants to see spider man 3. Lets face it SpiderMan 3 is a big movie and ps3 is the lowest costing bluray player. What do yall think?

Hmmm so you think the non gamers are gonna go drive down to the local bestbuy and pickup a PS3 with SPiderman 3....I have no idea who you trying to target with this post???  You trying to make non gamers,  buy PS3 to watch movies.  This logic will hurt the PS3 more then help it since the game console relies on sales of games to do good, not movies.   

The only argument Ive read in this thread is that the PS3 has blu ray and that makes it more powerful.  Blu ray is a format..its like calling a HDDVD player more powerful then my TV.  And saying that something has a bigger HD doesnt make the console more powerful then the other. Can't compare apples to oranges.  The only thing that matters for graphics and gameplay is the CPU, graphic card...etc. And depending on the game, some will work better on a 360 then a PS3 and vice versa.

I think they got rid of that one chip to save costs of producing the PS3.  They have emulators now.

Remember, cutting costs will help Sony drop the price.

  I just don't understand why Sony seems to love to screw Europe..First with a later launch date, and with a more expensive console then here in north america....But now they are removing the Emotion Engine and Graphic Synthesizer!!! First off they are charging the Europe more money for the PS3, why cut the cost???  Second, they need Europe to take on the 360 and Wii....Why screw them over again and again???!!!   Whoever is running Sony needs their head checked!! Sony needs Europe, not the other way around!!

The PS3 has 12 games that have scored 7.9 or higher with 10 of those being AA. Most of these titles are completely different genres also. Not to mention PS2 titles. If you cant find anything to play then you just hate the PS3 for no reason and it doesnt matter what games come out for it.echelon

I hope you didnt include Genji or Gundamn in that list of 12 games...Just making sure!!
