See? This is why I dont want a next gen to start so quickly. I mean, how much more powerful can these systems get??? And how much more can they cost? It costs alot to develope games, how are they going to afford it next gen?

If next-gen is crazy expensive, I'll be going the "Nintendo Wii 2" route probably, lol.

the game industry is breaking records in terms of profits and revanue with each gen of consoles so the idea is that the nex gen will make more money the this one. thuse things will flow along as normal. need not worry

I have actually cried over a low-scoring game review before, of a game that I couldn't wait to play.carljohnson3456

Seriously ?

You are taking this wayyy too seriously.

How is crying over a game review any different from crying over a sports loss? I think that I am perfectly normal here, it's just that my priorities are.....goodness forbid....different than yours.

For one, I dont know many full grown men who cry over sports (although there are exceptions), and two - Sports are actual competitions. Video games are products.

You wouldnt cry if a new dirt devil sweeper got a bad review... or would you? :|

my ass sports is not a product well pro sports for the most part. and ive seen men lose money and cry and team owners i bet at times have have cry. and the players to hell in the ufc ive seen fighters cry after a losse. I dont know what to tell you

IGN gave both an 8.7, but I think Ninja Gaiden II will be considered the better game in the end.

I think God of War III will dominate both of them, though. :D

trust me it is hard to get pepoel to change there habits. they said that the internet would end the need for book stores and shopping malls and stores. but pepoel like going out and getting things it gets them out of the house and is fun. only the relly lazzy would rather sit at home and shop. I love going to the game store and buying games and I don't care if it cost $10 less to get it online

Actually, I'd say Microsoft charge for Live because they're money-hungry pigs, but I see your point.Floppy_Jim

if you all ownd your own company I bet youd do anything to turn a buck. what you all think your not greedy to pleas... you would bulid in china and charge money for every littel thing just to make a $100mill more a year on top of the billon you already have. sony will charge for there online sevice some day they can't ignore the mass amont of money Xbox live is bringin in.

[QUOTE="americahellyeah"]i really can't wait untill ingame XMB, no more crappy Burnout Paradise soundtrack! finally i'll be able to crash to the sounds of Megadeth, Lamb of God, Shadow Falls, Dethklok, and Metallicasomesthetic

I see you bought the guitar hero II soundtrack.

unless criterion programed the game with custom soundtracks in mind, say goodbye to sound effects and any other in game noise too.

WTF are you talking about the 360 dose it without killing the soundeffects and every singel game for that matter

While Sony already admitted to be thinking about the PlayStation 4 and Nintendo are no doubt developing a Wii 2... In an interview with the head of Microsoft's Interactive Entertainment Business division, Peter Moore, EGM asked him when their next video game console would come out, and also asked if they'd drop support for the Xbox 360 like they did with the original Xbox. He said that they were going to support it "as long as it sold." Possibly because they saw the Xbox sell well into 2007 despite not producing the console after October 2005.

He said the production team from the Xbox 360 is working on the next Xbox 720 [our pet name], and their looking into what kind of CPUs will be available on the market in 2011-2012. That would put the Xbox 360 at a lifespan of 6 or 7 years, a far cry from the Xbox's 4 years. After spending $1.26 billion in losses launching the Xbox 360, they'll want to get the most out of the system by lengthening it's lifespan. As the longer you get into the cycle, the more profit you can make due to stopping being a loss leader, Vgcharts remarks.

[QUOTE="kaos-hero"][QUOTE="DXGreat1_HGL"]Does Burnout Pariadise on 360 also have rumble support?DXGreat1_HGL

All 360 games have rumble. PS3 can't rumble.

Actually as of last year, all future PS3 games (including this one) are designed to support rumble; once the dualshock 3 controllers are acquired. So technically it can rumble.

After Sony milks current adopters into buying a dualshock 3...

How's that battery pack treating you? Own a play & charge kit?

How about a wireless headset? An HDMI-equipped console? What size hard drive do you have? Do you HAVE a hard drive? Do you have to buy a proprietary hard drive or can you use any hard drive?

I already owned rechargable batteries. I also have HDMI cables and a hard drive. So you fail...

BURNED I love the fact the PS3 boys think we have to use the play and charge kit my 2600 HMIA batteries last 10X longer then my crap PS3 controller man the thing last like 8h
