Kojima doesn't have a bright future outside Konami, really.
His games take 8 years to make and more than $50 million - too big of a risk for ANY company, especially nowadays when EVERYBODY is going away from the big AAAs.
Kickstarter money won't be enough for him to make anything remotely resembling his past AAA games (MGSs). If Shenmue only got $6 million, he can "MAYBE" get $10, but it's chumpchange for him. Besides, the guy can't manage his time, so he'll return to KS to ask for more money for one project again and again.
Besides, I'm not sure he wants to make games anymore. He should really try himself as a movie director now. If I were him, I'd do that at this point.
No matter how well it captures your face, the main problem is that you'll look absolutely lifeless and dead in the game itself. That's my main problem in games' graphics so far - characters just look like dead dummy manequeens in games, even in 2015. And nobody seems to even plan to change it. Anyone knows why it's not an issue? Anybody else annoyed by it?? Can you recommend any games where people look like LIVE humans??? Thanks.
Safe to say at this point that This controller is indeed a failure. As is Steam Machines. Good that Valve have cash to spend, being the richest company in the world.
Valve is right in that standard controller (xbox's) is far from being the optimal tool to control games. But what they've made is definitely not the answer to this conundrum. Someone else will probably figure it out.
