It's never too late for pokemon red.

Also, IIRC there's pokemon at the E4 challenge in the 60's. Maybe want to level a bit at victory road or something.

[QUOTE="darklight4"]

GTAIV was a let down for me. San Andreas was fun and enjoyable and had graet music and customization GTAIV was lacking in these and was fairly boring and stop with the constant phone calls geez.

AmnesiaHaze

in older GTAs you had no cell phone , maybe thats why you didnt recieved as many calls :D

Just to be a jerk, I'll point out that CJ had a cellphone in SA.

OT: Gran Turismo 5 (while good) is not nearly as good as its 5 year production time would normally warrant.

I thought The World Is Not Enough had fantastic multiplayer. Even playing with bots could get pretty intense.

Well, the first thing I'd like to point out is that you wont escape your problem with the Microsoft points with ps3. You still have to buy credit in specific amounts like 20 or 50 dollars, and things on PS Store usually wind up costing $11.25 or something like that, so you'll most often end up with like, 17 cents left over.

As much as I like the ps3, I would say that unless you know some games out there that you really want and would enjoy, then you might as well wait. At least until Sony releases another version of the system (it'll happen).

Also, you're friend sounds like a swindler to me. 6 games, even if they're older, and used aren't worth an extra 20 gigs of space, especially considering games on ps3 can take up more space, and you'll probably be installing more stuff to a ps3 than you would an xbox.

I'm not saying you shouldn't get a ps3, but this doesn't sound like that great of a deal to me. Although you should check into whether or not his ps3 is backwards compatable with ps2 games, if that's important to you. New ones can only do ps1 for some reason.

I live in Canada and my class had a couple weeks of sex-ed in the 5th grade. I can honestly say that I found it useful. It's been drilled into our heads, the dangers of STIs/STDs/unprotected sex etc for 6 years with the effect that most people I know (and I know a lot of people) find the idea of having sex before adulthood ridiculous, and having unprotected sex (without the intention of having a baby of course) downright insane. We aren't crazy sex-freaks and totally scarred for life or something because we were too young to hear about these things. We're just more prepared.

Somebody else in this thread mentioned that kids aren't as innocent as you think they are, which, not being too far removed from childhood myself, I can tell you is true. Some kids even start going into puberty as young as eight years old (supposedly girls start younger than guys) so it makes perfect sense to be taught early on in life about sex.

I do remember having to get a form signed by my parents saying that they were ok with me taking part in sex-ed, and I'm sure the same thing happens in other countries, so even if you aren't convinced, you can still opt your child out of sex-ed. It's not being forced on them.

I usually don't listen to other music when playing games, but listening to At Doom's Gate (first level theme from original doom) while playing Left 4 Dead was an amazing idea, and one that I take advantage of at every opportunity.

I often accuse people of screen-peeking when I'm online just to see what kind of reaction I get.:P

I'm not sure if it's really a puzzle exactly, but the Zodiac Spear in Final Fantasy XII was made to sell guides. Honestly, there's no way you could just know about it.

In order to get the spear, there are a number of treasure chests in the game, both in plain sight, and hidden, that you CAN'T open. If you open any of these chests, the chest that normally holds the Zodiac Spear will instead dispense an Elixir or something like that.

There's only one other way to get the spear, and it's almost as ridiculous. There's one other chest that holds the spear, but not all the time. Basically when you enter/exit a certain number of areas (I think it's 3), a number gets randomly generated based on some sort of ID number on your actual Ps2 (???), and the number you get decides what the chest will contain. The chest respawns, but you would still have to have prior knowledge to have even a slim chance of getting it.

No mention is made of these methods throughout the entire game. In fact, the only clue to even the existence of the spear is its name appearing on the license grid (which you use to buy the rights to use all weapons/armor/skills etc in the game).
