They also have different stands with fans, cooling systems and such. I don't really know if those work as effectively, but I can tell you that i've had my 360 on for a seriously long time on a few occasions (not always on purpose) with a stand that has two fans on the bottom and i've yet to experience problems.

I dont think cooling things are that effective mainly because they are just pushing out air that has already been released from the 360. But I do know one thing. If you have plentyroom around the 360 it will cool alot better. My 360 has yet to break and it must get about 5-6 hours of gameplay or more from my family a day. Of course this is normally spread out, but it is definitly getting its work in.
