Sounds like Gamestop is setting themselves and their investors up to be disappointed. The vast majority of gamers don't buy at launch, most of us wait until a price drop and/or some games worth playing come out. This is something that can be verified by looking at quarterly sales figures since the Atari 2600.
@matricks_: If you are into the vanilla scene, Blizzard saying they are using patch 1.12 as a foundation is huge news. But yeah, thats really the only news we got. No info about release window, whether we are going to have to buy it again or not, or if there will be an additional sub fee was said.
And Kathleen Kennedy and crew are already blaming straight white men for this. They obviously learned nothing, and won't shut up until they kill of Star Wars for good.
@ps3gamer1234: Dude it was $30. Thirty bucks. Even a casual gamer would have more than made that up in two years even with a few purchases a year. There was NO EXCUSE to not have it. If you chose to not enroll in the program, that is your fault alone.
