Got the optional updates installed by just going through them individually (except bing which is stupid).

I used your trick and got two of the important updates installed. Progress. There is still one giving me trouble:

I tried to repeat your trick for this last one but it didn't work.

Windows is failing to update the following:

So yeah, Windows is acting sluggish and clearly wants these updates but won't give it to me. Troubling shooting ideas?

My partners for a short film want to use this to get some funding, so I've just been learning about it. It's a neat idea. Some friends of mine used it, got about $900, and made a pretty awesome little film.

I still need to play the second, it's been sitting on my desktop for about 6 months now. What's wrong with me.

Already got one...might get Pokemon. I don't like to spend more than $30 on games anymore.

I think the problem with my DVI is I accidently grabbed the wrong cable (I was moving my computer to my college apartment). I grabbed an 18-pin cable which may have been lying nearby, and I think my monitor only supports 24-pin. Reading up on my monitor, 24 is what it came with so I somehow mixed those up. Will test this out when I buy a new cable...

Still not sure why HDMI won't work.
