There is no manual save. It's supposed to autosave when an action is completed which would be fine except it can stop working.

Started playing the game earlier this morning and again for a couple hours this evening. Soon after I started the game again to find the last 2 hours were not saved. Looking online it seems like this is a common problem that has something to do with the DRM. All the topics I've seen are a couple years old and don't seem to have any reliable fix. So in 2012, has Ubisoft addressed this issue? Or does anyone have a fix that will definitely work? I'm running on Windows 7 if that matters.
[QUOTE="ShadowsDemon"]I'm wondering if I should get AC1 and 2....princeofshapeirGet AC2, don't get AC1. You don't need to play AC1, and in fact you might like the AC series more if you start with AC2. Just be warned that the DRM is absolute nonsense, but if you have a stable internet connection it's not a problem.
Well I've always felt I had a stable internet connection, and I just recently lost a couple hours of progress because my game stopped saving. Apparently it has something to do with the DRM causing my autosaves to stop working.
Played some more Assassins Creed 2 today for a couple hours and found out it saved none of my progress. Awesome...
I thought they gutted the drm due to fan feedback? Or was that just for future Ubi games?[QUOTE="dommeus"]Bit cheeky that Gemini Rue isn't discounted, considering every other title in the fifth Indie Bundle is (and it's the only game I want that I don't have from it). [QUOTE="GamerwillzPS"]
I was tempted for Assassin's Creed 2 but I heard it has DRM and decided not to buy it.

I dont see DRM listed anywhere on the description, outside of Steam of course
Just got it, seems like I have to be logged into 'Uplay.'
Also, the shadows are pretty ugly. Anyone know if I can fix this?
