It didn't "kill" Halo, it surpassed it in popularity.

I think most people here concluded that a long time ago. Even if the games were better, they wouldn't "kill" Halo.

343 Industries may kill Halo. We'll just have to wait and see.

I'm still waiting for the redesign. I'm not dying to get a 3DS so if it takes a couple years, it doesn't really matter. Plus, by the time I get it, I'll have so many games to choose from :).

As long as it is not $60 and has Xbox Live support, I will probably get it. Otherwise, I still have the original and the graphics do not bother me. I am interested to see what changes they make though.

All this quibbling over genres is ridiculous. A great game is a great game.
