[QUOTE="Animal-Mother"] if you got seasick from riding a boat would it be a gimmick?Animal-Mother
No but if it gives me blinding headaches that take a day to go away yes its a gimmick..If I get seasick then I don't get on a boat...but when all games, movies and tv shows some how someday become 3d only...then Im pretty well screwed unless they fix the problem that me and other people have with 3d stuff.
So if you got sick on the boat it's not a gimmick, but considering the fact you don't have to use 3D like not getting on the boat it's a gimmick :?In your first statement you basically said if it makes you physically ill it's a gimmick.
A lot of things can make you physically ill, are they all gimmicks too?
Your argument doesn't make any sense. The two things aren't similar at all. The only reason 3D is included in movies and such is because directors and producers think it enhances the experience and they want to attract an audience. But the thing is, for a lot of people, it doesn't enhance the experience. And for some, it hurts their experience. The way boats rock from side to side isn't included as a way to enhance the experience, it's just the way it is. No way around it.
