Me and my four mates played a team of gamer girls on gamebattles at cod4 and they kicked our bums was no more embarassing than getting beat by a bunch of boys in my eyes but my freinds disagreed ah well cant change every1s mind if there were more girls playing games it wouldnt be strange so hyperactive little boys wudnt get so evcited..... The grapics of a game try to tie in whith what the game is trying to make the player feel i.e. cod4 is going for realism there for the graphic style of the game must follow suit, castle crashers is a game that doesnt try to be realistic rather itgives the impression you are playing a cartoon through gameplay music and visual design. There are games out there like prince of persia that have went down a differrent route and took a more artistic apperance to add another dimension to the game. However i disagree with your point stating that your sick of it, it is what games try to do and yes at times the fps rate may drop and pixelate but this is all part of the process it will be many years before any game can truly say that it has acheived true realism visually but by then we will have entered the 3D age where graphics may take a back seat and the player experience is first in line (just as the wii has done already). Project natal is another example of this you can see is with that milo game *peodphiles paradise* cough, the graphics and gameplay are coinciding with one another to create the ultimate experience where a player becomes so submerged in a game that they forget they are infact playing one. Now im not sayingthis milo will tottaly submerge you as its the very first of its kind but the graphics in that game show what the future holds and on the other end of the spectrum you have uncharted 2 boasting some great graphics and what looks like a good shooter. I see your point but you cannot argue with cod4 as the visuals try to be realistic but at no expense of gameplay only when a games visuals take front stage over gameplay should you really complain that its getting annoying.

Well i cant really agree with you if you want to buy it buy it as not every game appeals to you like for instance i ordered the bat man collectors edition and my freinds cudnt understand why vice versa with cod mw2 i dont see the attraction however i have cancelled my order as the collectable batarang that was supposed to be made of matal as advertised has now been changed to plastic as i learned earlier today making it pointless spending £60 on it.

I liked aot Assasins Creed had a good sinister ring ot it, Mass Effect however what i have noticed is that many war games have the worst names ever Modern Warfare well naw why not call it todays fighting its sooooo crap.

Dunno how u cud really say they are anyhting alike tbh. Steam is but a games on demand service who only recently i.e. 1/2 years ago started to develop the social aspects of it, including greater freinds system, chat both text and voice, groups and other features which make a great online experience. Xbox live however is something which i feel steam has drawn on alot while incorporating there owntake on many features however have only a basic social infastructure. I used steam every day for around 2 years solid then for another 2 on and off and i didnt know a single person who usedmany of the featuresfor the intended purpose many used vent and firefox. Xbox has a more fleshed out social orientated design and not until today did they include the games on demand service so all in all i appreciate both and think each have both their good and bad aspects even though i come across a bit more xbox pro in what i wrote i really dont favour one for the other but would love it ifsteam come to xbox live how amazing wud that be?

Hi, last night around 4ish i went back to my dashboard after playing fifa to be met with a message saying "some content has been disabled however you can still talk to freinds, play online etc etc". My freinds said they didnt have the same thing as i was thinking it may have something to do with the update but obviously not :(

So can anyone give me a nudge in the right direction so i can download the batman demo (i think its up from waht ive heard may be wrong tho)

No, i bought it on day one at 9am played it for a week and got bored very very quickly. The career mode spends too much time pissing about in slow mundane looking menus and the online though fun is filled with idiots who quit when they get beat meaning you dont get the victory though i am aware there is an update coming out to fix this so yes its fun but that is short lived.

So problem is the mics working but i cant get the audio to come through the headset and i cant find it any where online or any setting on the xbox can someone help?
