lol, that's the lamest excuse for not reading I've ever heard. If you are aware that the books the schools are making you read don't represent the majority of books, than it isn't going to "ruin reading."
well it ruined reading for me.....why waste the little free time I actaully have on reading which im gonna be doing in school for 6 hours straight anyway?? And I know im not the only one.....and as I said...lets all quit school and become smarter.....
Good luck with that. I'm sure if you just sat at home all day you would become much smarter.
Ive learned more at Wikipedia than I ever have at recess.....
School isn't just for facts. School teaches you how to learn, organize, socialize and deal with authority (teacher = boss). You can't get that from Wikipedia. I will admit there are (many) problems with the current system but not having a system isn't going to help.
I am my own boss and when I get out of high school me and my chinese friend are gonna get Harley Davidsons and live life on the road...live by the rules of the road....be free birds and flap our wings......
