now having school holidays and playing 9 hours on a daily basis coming to 2 and the half months now..
on the PS2. it will be 17 hours. my eyes burned and back ached after that for 3 days before i continued again. =)

Check disc condition of the disc. Or maybe your are just plain unlucky of not playing one of the best game on the PS2 platform. =)
