@syzygy10: If current players move from blizzards servers onto a legacy server run by someone else, its not a win for blizzard is it, their revenue go's down.
While Blizzard are still making money from WoW they will never allow free servers, and it isn't in their best interest to do so, quite a few players who can find a free alternative will move very quickly to it if given a chance, keeping control is likely the reason WoW has lasted so long, when other MMO's have died.
And as for licensing legacy servers, why would they do that?, If they thought it would make them money, they would just create their own.
Guess they finally worked out, that driving out the creators that say no this isn't right or good enough and keeping only yes-men isn't good for quality control, bring back the old team and we rpg gamers can have some hope for future Bioware titles.
@a_dark_earth: His claim is "Defendant's commercials were objectionable because they featured repeated homicides in a dark, dystopian landscape, where violence is glorified as sport. The killings and physical violence were not to protect innocent life, but instead were repugnant and morally indefensible images designed to appeal to young consumers.", So the world being destroyed by an atom bomb isn't really being targeted, even the young consumers part is wrong as the game is rated M or 18 everywhere.
So the sole survivor shoots a rad roach which was about to attack him, he then shot at a couple of super mutants who were shooting back, and thats repugnant and morally indefensible, cant see it myself, guess my moral compass is out of alignment, I hope Zenimax goes to court over this, any jury should fall down laughing at Dion's claims.
