When Phil isn't talking he seems really pro consumer, Backwards compatibility, Game pass and timed refunds, but as soon as he opens his mouth shit comes out, never give sales figures its always shipped, change the wording on timed exclusive so they can fool a few extra people.
And as for the console wars are unhealthy, thats just stupid, I doubt the xbox would have BC and the game pass if they weren't so far behind Sony, so its forced them to do pro consumer stuff rather than sit back and do nothing, which is obvious they intended to do, so its only unhealthy for Phil as its likely putting his job in jeopardy.
@jameschalkley88: when did I say there wasn't an improvement in quality, I said there isn't such a massive improvement like between SD and HD which it isn't, HD was a big leap forward and people bought them for 2 reasons, for the improvement in quality and the reduction in TV size, the other problem 4k has is 8k is already appearing, which means its likely people will skip 4k altogether, and just wait for 8k tvs to drop in price.
And as for PS4 pro not working with some 4k tvs, nothing to do with cables or quality of the tv, some are just not compatible, and will likely not be compatible with the Xbox one x either.
@xboxonex: Trolling and Bait only work if people can be bothered to read what you post, So 10 out of 10 for the biggest wall I've seen in along time, but 1 out of 10 for bait effectiveness.
With only a couple of years until next gen the price is abit high, but the bigger problem is the games, The Xbox still have very limited genres on the system and it didn't seem that Microsoft was doing anything about it, all they showed was the same few games that have been promising for years and Multiplats, the gap in software between the PS4 and Xbox is massive now, around 20-30% extra software on the PS4, that need's to stop growing before the xbox becomes a system I would bother with.
The other problem is 4k isn't taking off like HD did, there was a massive jump in quality from SD to HD, the same isn't true between HD and UHD, also not being helped by some 4K tvs not working with the PS4 pro and likely the Xbox one X, so some people are confused which TV to buy.
Sounds more like an MMO style monster hunter game by the title, PS fans pray for an exclusive for the PS4 but I doubt it will happen, Monster hunter is aimed at the Japanese market so handhelds are the main direction for the series, and I cant see it moving to a none Nintendo system, unless Sony are willing to attempt the handheld market again.
@dlCHIEF58: Horizon is a single game, and PSVR is a niche idea, BC on the Xbox one is its only advantage over the PS4 and hardly anyone is using it, even with alot of games which are cheap to buy, so few people are bothering.
