Well it makes sense. Nintendo's never been about super AAA crazy graphics. Their games have awesome art direction and more often than not awesome art direction will beat realistic super high res graphics. People should know this by now. How many games have we gotten that strive for crazy visuals that end up being crappy games in the end?
If Nintendo doesn't make the same mistake they made with the Wii U (Releasing exclusives way too late after initial console release) I'll bite. Breath of the Wild looks awesome.
Microsoft, forget these features and get back to what's important; THE GAMES. Where the hell are all the exclusives?? So far my Xbox has been an absolute waste of money.
@Moonco: Agreed. My Xbox's main occupation at the moment is collecting dust. Microsoft has a ton of IPs but they prefer they're consoles to continue to be a haven for multiplatform titles. Just like the 360. Disappointing.
@jimmydonegood: Must be why mine is collecting dust. Future! Sure it is. -_- Maybe if Microsoft pulls their heads out of their asses and give us some good exclusives. Otherwise it will continue to collect dust. Just bought it two months ago too. Waste of money.
@idkhowtoplay007: Yep that's why I'm trading my One S for my uncles One. He's gonna throw some cash on top and I get a nice mint condish One that's out of warranty. I can rip it open and start having some real fun with it haha.
@wimkuip: I think so. Or atleast I hope so. Microsoft hasn't revealed anything about the Scorpio but if the PS4 Pro performs a good 15-20 FPS better than the PS4 than the Scorpio "should" have no problem running it at a rock solid 60 FPS.
@idkhowtoplay007: I like the Xbox One S. Slick looking console. Quiet, stays cool and has a 4k BR player. UI defintely needs work but so does the PS4's. Unfortunately that's all the good things I can say about it. I bought it about two months ago and it's been collecting dust ever since. The only games I had any interest in playing on it were Sunset Overdrive and the Rare Collection. Everything else like Forza, Gears and Quantum Break I already had on my gaming PC. So far it's been an absolute waste of money. I originally bought it so I can play Battlefield 1 with friends but the performance is so bad that I end up rage quitting lol
I like to buy consoles for first party exclusives and IMO, just like the 360, the Xbox One turned out to be a multiplatform gaming machine with not enough titles of it's own to set it apart.
I don't understand Microsoft. They own so many IPs and do absolutely nothing with them. What I wouldn't do to play a Crimson Skies sequel.
@idkhowtoplay007: I'm using one as well. I installed BF1 and only BF1 on a spare 250 GB Samsung evo 850 I have hanging around. Load times were cut a little but nothing drastic which I was bummed out about. And the menus still lag but not as much as they did before. I have an Xbox One S. I'm trading it to someone for the OG Xbox One. It's out of warranty so I'm gonna rip it apart and replace the internal drive with the SSD. I'm wondering if having the OS running on an SSD will cut alot of the BS out.
@t-16: Um, no it isn't. Not sure why some people say this. I'm sure it's just trolling but if it isn't their visual perception is as accurate as Stevie Wonder's.
