@Aaronp2k @Rushaoz The problem is that I have a Yamaha 5.1 setup with 4 Yamaha 3 way speakers and a center Yamaha speaker with 2 3 inch mid drivers and 2 tweeters.. it's very loud and I love out. Now i'm not trying to blare the volume because it will just come back though the mic and everyone will hear what I'm hearing, but th earpiece volume is SO low that I can't even hear the game itself well enough if I want to hear everyone else talking to me.
It's extremely annoying. Just a little more volume would do the trick. I don't have this issue when using the 360 mic on my Xbox or PC. Just the PS4 >:-(
@spartanx169x @Rushaoz It doesn't help that the boxed PS4 headset that everyone is using has the mic placed down by your chest so no one is as loud as they should be to begin with. Add in the low chat volume output on the DS4 and most of the time the phrase coming out of my mouth to team mates is "WHAT? I couldn't hear you man say that again?"
Xbox One headset > PS4 headset even though neither let you route chat audio through HDMI like the PS3 and 360 could.
For the love of gawd Sony.. PLEASE GIVE US CHAT AUDIO THROUGH HDMI WHEN A HEADSET IS PLUGGED IN!!! I can't enjoy my surround sound at the sound levels I'd like because the speakers drown out the very low chat volume coming through mono headsets. I tried the stock headset and bought 2 other mono PS4 headset brands. the DS4 simply doesn't push enough volume.
@pgl163 I love them but but Uncharted man. It's classic to me. for me the main difference is the feel of the story. Drake is very sarcastic and hilarious at times. I love his character and to me is probably the most memorable of the last gen.
Tomb Raider? It's awesome. But being an old school TR fan I didn't enjoy it as much because i was expecting more old school elements like more elaborate puzzles and exploring. If you've never played Tomb Raider before and don't compare it to the old games, you'll find it amazing. It's literally Uncharted with a female protagonist and a more dramatic story.
@rickphoenixxx @Rushaoz Not at all man. PS1 emulation is perfect now. You can even play PS1 games on your phone. It's mainly what I use. I have a Galaxy s4, a PS3 controller and a gameklip. Works beautifully. get ePSXe off the Play Store and give it a shot. Nothing like carrying around all the classics you loved as a kid in your pocket.
PC will always be my platform of choice although I am a console gamer too. The PS1 has to be my console of all time.
My main reason for picking PC over anything else is the sheer amount of freedom you have. No restrictions. My PC doubles as a PS1! ..and a PS2, and a Wii, and a Genesis, and an N64.. I could go on forever. Even if you don't have a gaming PC capable of blowing console performance out of the water, the trade off is still massive.
I remember playing the World of Warcraft mod for Counter Strike. So much damn fun. Or the Desert Combat mod for BF 1942.
Drop the fanboy-ism. I implore every gamer out there to give PC gaming a chance. You will not be disappointed.
I can spot out all the console gamers hating in the comments. Not only by their lame "graphics aren't everything" argument, but their lack in grammar skills. Seriously, some of you really need to pick up a book and read. It's hard to take any of you seriously when you're spelling like kindergarteners.
