From my point of view, its not a choice. I really didn't feel like I choose it, I act it on, if you want to count that as a choice lol.

[QUOTE="Russell891"]I posted yeasterday, about my computer not posting on the scree, and it seems everyone said my motherboard was dead. I just have one question if it is dead how come the lights on it still light up, it still power up when I hit the power button on my case? There are no sounds coming from it like the boops* you get when you first start, could it be the CPU? I still just don't think its the motherboard, cause power is going to all CPU fan and stuff? Thanks guyartiedeadat40

Could be your cpu but a sudden failure on your cpu is very unlikly. I had the same thing happen to me (board would turn on fans would spin up and no post) it turned out it was the northbridge that failed.

Its not like it stopped, I was building a new PC, so there no way for me to know, lol. So, it could be all the parts? perhaps?

I play on a Samsung Syncmaster T220 22" widescreen monitor. native res is 1680x1050 @ 60hz with a 2MS response time. It's a fantastic monitor that cost only $279.Johnny_Rock
I just bought this monitor too, its amazing, for the price

[QUOTE="Russell891"]Thanks guys, im pretty sure it the board now. Just wondering will the CPU be hury at all by this, just pop it into the new board, and it should work?darx55
Nothing will happen to your cpu.Don't forget about the thermal grease, and you're good to go.

Okay now, im just pissed, I can't use my new PC today, but Newegg is suppose to have good service, so it should be back soon?
