Nothing will happen to your cpu.Don't forget about the thermal grease, and you're good to go.

Okay now, im just pissed, I can't use my new PC today, but Newegg is suppose to have good service, so it should be back soon?

[QUOTE="Russell891"]would that PSU test be in the manual, cause i did something like a PSU test, and it is fine.ferret-gamer
it doesnt usually tell you how to test the exact power output just if it will turn on

The PSU is fine then, it goes on, everything turns on it seems, all fans work, even the GPU fan, board lites up, any other ideas?

I just built my 2nd computer, and I have no clue what is going on right now. It turns on but no images goes to the screen, all the fans run, motherboard lights up, DVD drive opens and closes, but it doesn't post on the monitor, could this be a gfx card problem, should I try another gfx and see if it works, or would that just be a waste of time, thanks.
