When i started up my $10 copy ;) of GTA i was amazed at just how much it looks like the ps2. Its amazing, screen shots or internet videos just don't do it justice. Gamespot doesnt do it justice in how they gripe about the load times, which are nothing. Just always keep in mind this is a handheld, so you are going to get smaller games and larger load times. You really have to play it to believe it.

Always look in the weekend ads of circuit city and best buy, they have so many great deals on psp games its crazy.

Just picked it up a few hours ago at circuit city. Chose it over a console because of price and i don't play games like i used to. Just wanted something to occupy my free time. I couldnt pass up $170 with GTA Liberty being $10.

I played my friend's at his house a lot. Socom 2 online is what got me addicted. This machine is amazing for being so damn small.

I was recently askin myself the same question. Only a few hours ago I bought the PSP from circuit city and i would highly recommend you buy it if you are interested. The price just went down to $170 and at circuit city you get a free travelers case, which isn't too bad. I also picked up GTA Liberty City Stories for $10 new at circuit city. i chose all this over a wii and still payed  $60 less.

So far I love it. I will probably pick up Socom 2, MGS Po, and Metal Slug in the near future. They are all supposed to be great games.

Over all, YES. It is pretty much a portable computer. I love this little machine, the graphics are astounding for a handheld.

So I recently graduated high school and fell into a small amount of grad money trickling in from relatives. I'm thinking about a new system but can not make up my mind. I've narrowed it down to the Wii or PSP since I'm not ready to pay over $400 on a console. I figure I'll wait for a price drop in xbox 360 and ps3 or wait for more games to come for the ps3. So now the decision time, the PSP and Wii are pretty close being nearly $70 off each other so I need people's input that have one of these systems.

I have played both systems and am just looking for something to interest me in my spare time over the summer and probably drag along to kill time in college. My only concern is the lack of great games for either system. I think right now the PSP has more games that would interest me but I cannot get over how much fun the Wii is when I play at my friends. Also what do I need to use the PSP online?

Any input is appreciated, thanks.
