Smartglass is actually a strong offering so I can't say anything about that. As far as being about money rather than "full player satisfaction". I would argue that their competitor SONY is no different with he exception of Nintendo who has an inscrutable methodology (who knows what Nintendo is thinking at any specific time?).

I see what you're getting at, but he never claims that XBOX hasn't been successful. He's saying that they aren't as successful as they should have been, considering their positioning in this generation of gaming. The man is hardly "butthurt". What he is, is a co-founder of a successful platform that is inextricably part of his legacy.

That's not even remotely true. They have had multiple profitable years with record revenues. 5.3billion in pure profit last year alone.

I believe that the XBOX has more than proven itself, however... I have to agree with what Nat Brown is saying. XBOX 360 had so many opportunities to further solidify its position and capitalize on its competitors screw-ups and yet continuously failed to either notice or exploit them.
