Has anyone found a good deal for Uncharted 2? I'm almost ready to click the purchase button for my 250GB Slim but I want to find it for less than £35 if not more but with DLC or exclusive content.

I've already checked the following.

amazon.co.uk

game.co.uk

play.com

i recently bought the GOTY edition, and wow. i can't believe what i was missing. this game is amazing. simply top notch quality. the pacing in the campaign is fantastic, and horde mode is addicting as hell. i owned R2, and many said it was the PS3's answer to Gears 2, but after playing both, i can safely say R2 doesn't hold a candle to it. the PS3 needs more games with a horde/survival mode. they're fun as hell.

the great thing about Gears 2 is that no one can bash it for being "easy". multiplayer is competitive and hard as hell. in fact, it's probably the most skill based shooter i've played on consoles this gen. and even though i get owned each and every time, the slick leveling system and countdown to achievements notification keeps me playing. i know PS3 owners are feeling high and mighty with their exclusives, and rightfully so, but i honestly don't see any game that challenges Gears 2 on the PS3.

not even Uncharted 2. not even close.

As much as I hate to admit it, Gears 2 is the best shooing exclusive on any platform this gen. I have the original on PC and the game play is just so challenging, polished, slick and hardcore which is why i wish I had a 360. The cloest we can expect to get is with Uncharted 2 and possibly Quantum Theory.

Is normal survival co-op on all MP maps?

What diferent co-op modes are there except Gold Rush and Survival mode?

How much it'll be? Can I install 1TB HDD or the PS3 has a limit for the size?

Gue1
1TB works, my friend has it in his PS3 and it works fine. Anything over and it's pushing it, I'm guessing.

Honestly? Forza 3, and I'm a PS3 Fanboy and Forza just looks so much better. If GT5 doesn't have a damage mechanic on vehicles then Forza wins hands down.

No UMD Conversions will really annoying existing customers who wish to upgrade and the Nintendo DS will sell like a beast as always. Gran Turismo 5 hasn't delivered or to say at least as GameTrailers said. There's also the fact that no UMB Compatibility means £35-$55 rip-off PS Store downloads.

Now I am in no way bashing Uncharted 2, even I have become quite amazed and some of the gameplay video and reviewers seem to dig the game aswell. What I want to know is how long do you think the multiplayer portion of Uncharted will stay popular? With games like Modern warfare 2 coming and that game built with more interest into multiplayer and Uncharted for Single player do you think it will last as long or longer than alot of other popular online shooters/others.

I am not calling Uncharted 2's MP tacked on and I have no right to judge how it plays but it seems like every other game that comes out that "Should not have had MP", their multi kinda fails or sucks in comparison to other games. Some great examples of this are Prey, Dark Sector, The Darkness, Resident Evil 5 etc, etc. So do you think the Multiplayer portion of Uncharted 2 can go the mile and keep up with other great online games and break this curse of "Tacked on MP", or will it be something people play for a week and then go running to COD? I have had this on my mind for quite awhile and I just got around to asking it lol.

It'll defintely be a game I'll come back to for weeks and months like Call of Duty and Killzone 2.

Thanks for checking this thread out. I'm trying to find out a good game for a 5 year old who'll be 6 in two months. We already have Rub-a-Dub so I'm hoping there is some other game out there for him. Something somewhat simple in terms of reflexes as he doesn't really have gaming skills yet. platform jumpers may not be the best for him as I think they'd just frustrate him. Is there any kind of kids racing game that does not require a great deal of skill, but is still fun?

Thanks again for your suggestions

It doesn't get much better than Littlebigplanet.
