I've had a couple AMD/ATI products in the past, all of them were returned. Truth of the matter is: AMD sucks. I buy Intel processors and nVidia graphics only.

@shaunmc Keep an open mind. The reason why the Asian teams are so strong is because they get strong support from their community at home. We could easily show these guys what professional gaming is all about if only corporate sponsors we willing to show support. The media needs to get behind eSports and give it a push into the mainstream. The more cynical articles from gaming news outlets, the more uncertain the future of competitive gaming becomes.

<p>It's possible that you left understanding less about eSports because you can't justify people getting paid to play their favorite game rather than have to work like the rest of us. You noted the salary of a professional athlete as if it had some kind of hidden significance, which you quickly found out is not the case for someone who is a devoted fan or professional player of competitive video games.

<p>You have to play the game at a competent level to understand advanced mechanics and the metagame. It's a whole new world of strategic analysis and tactics.

It's a decent game but it's nothing like it's original predecessor. Currently missing maps cs_militia, cs_assault, de_piranesi, and more classic favorites. These "new game modes" are not really new to old school players. It's the good old Gun Game mod with a fresh new name. Missing the flashlight. Missing silencers. It's still very buggy when joining custom server. Server admins are having serious headaches dealing with the dev team on this game, they have changed around things that have been set in stone for years for no apparent reason. They reworked the entire money system and broke the game by doing so. I could go on and on, but basically this is just another Condition Zero. I give this game a 7.5/10. CS:Source was 9/10. CS 16. wwas 10/10.

When they asked me to accept the ToS/EULA that encompassed the RMAH, I simply refused to accept that in my games. I asked for a refund and it was promptly addressed and refunded within 24 hours. Uninstalling the game was also very fast and efficient. It made me feel a bit better knowing that they made sure my exit from supporting their current business model was swift and painless.
