I was playing Gears 2 today, and all of a sudden it froze and I had to restart my system. Then for a while, every time I tried to join a match in Gears it just went to a black screen after a while. That happened for a bit, then after a next restart I got the RRoD, turned it off, got RRoD again. Now I turned it on after 5 minutes and it works fine, except it freezes about 5 minutes into any session on the 360 and there are like 4 vertical lines and a beeping sound just when it freezes... Can anyone help me out with this?

i don't think you will have to preorder it cause it's going to be just as big as halo

jdukes247

Correction, bigger than Halo. As Halo is a really popular game no doubt, it also has specific audience, GTAIV reaches a larger demographic than Halo or most games for that matter could ever hope to. Any GTA is a big deal, and people anticipate, hype, and depend on them. When Take Two and Rockstar come out with new GTA IV, is an event...

.ToScA-

That...

Well and also the fact that 360 sold more units than PS3 to day and it would make sense to offer their games to a larger base of people in order to sell more...

Death Row, is the only time being in last place would seem to be the best position.

Just Saying

SecretPolice

Made me laugh, cry, and then laugh a little more. But yeah, how are they in best position? I mean I'm sure every company is planning to release a new console. It would only make sence that MS releases their faster because they had a year head start to begin with. Oh and they are just making money with there 360, having just crossed over into the profit area, it doesnt make sence to take another financial risk so soon. Look at MS, they make money, and they do it smart, I am sure they understand the risk of loosing a large fraction of their support base due to poor decisions, so do not expect the new xbox until at least 2010...

The door is closed until GTAIV release. TakeTwo is operating on the fact that GTAIV will be successful, looking at the preorders and such, they will most likely point to the sales numbers (Granted GTA sells like hotcakes which it is aimed to do) to increase their value. EA actually made a quite reasonable offer considering the fact that they offered A LOT of money and even upped the actual TakeTwo current value. TakeTwo is just holding out hoping that the GTAIV sales will convince EA to make with more money.

Previews, videos, reviews, impressions, interviews. Often look at the developers' other work or at the first games (if this game is part of the series) when I'm on the fence I rent it first, but most of the time I am able to build a pretty decent idea of what I want to buy and what I don't before the game actually comes out...

Yes it is worth it to be the owner of all three systems, after all, you then get the complete gaming experience. I mean there is no system that is above any other by a graet amount and most of them brign great games to the table that are exclusives, you get the full experience. I have the wii and the 360 and plan on getting the PS3 as well in the summer...

No. A console company doesn't deserve to be supported if they move to a new system so quickly. I've said this many, many times: If I wanted to update my system every 4-5 years, I would get a PC(not a hit on PCs at all).Chutebox

Didn't the PS2 last for roughly that amount of time? Maybe +/- one year? Just saying, why would people support sony then? That is the fact of all tech, as soon as they can come up with somethign better and sell it to top the competition they'll do it. Oh and that is a very big if. I'm sure tehre will be no new Xbox until around 2010-2012
