Fast enough to pick on games. It seems that they have stepped away from movies as the biggest influence of all and have another scapegoat now. It always surprises me how people blame video games, movies, music, etc for stupid behaviour. There was an instance in Vancouver I believe some time ago when a kid shot two cops I think. The news article ran something in the fashion of "A Kid Influenced By GTA Shoots Two Police Officers". What the title didn't mention and the article barely reffered to, the kid was also under heavy drug influence. I am not going to say it were the drugs per se, but GTA came out as the looser on that one as well. Once again, this overlooks all the positive aspect of games, such as heroism which is often futuredd in games. It seems that everyone is quick to drop the blame, I wouldn't be surprsed if the parents of the kid who was the shooters are also claiming "sure its the video games", because, lets admit it there are plenty of stupid people as well, and if you are not smart enough to notice your kid's emotional problem that is your fault. But this is not going to stop them, we are just to "impressionable and easily manipulated so it seems" but for the amount of copies GTA sells, by their argument the world should resemble one gang ridden and crime infested dump, yet look at us...
You are basically arguing for the format war more than anything else. Blu Ray winning has nothing to do with the systems, (well yeah it does, but not as much as people make it out to be). The multiplat games still look great on both systems, and for some, 360 is getting bonus content such as promised GTA IV. You're also judging sales off 1 month. Sure sony is catching, but believe me it isn't that drastic. This is basically an opinion piece (upcoming PS3 games are widely regarded as better? well whenever you get MGS4 let us know... besides most upcoming games are multiplat nowadays....) where you are possibly trying to justify buying a PS3. To be honest, wait for a coupple more years and all of the great games that are due to come out, FOR BOTH SYSTEMS, exclusives or not...
