Yes and no.

Technically, they did. You "shake" the wiimote to swing the sword, but this feature is so stupid.

I want sword combat where the sword on screen moves with the wiimote, so if the user "stabs" with the wiimote, Link will "stab" on screen.

Probably not yet, but it should be able to happen when Motion+ comes out.

Even though I haven't played it (Im Scottish, and it was never released over here) judging by what AVGN said, it seems pretty awful.

it is impossible for a company to not talk about the competition in the same league, and they will do so to make the competition look bad or inferior and theres better or superior. And while MS and Sony are arguing away, nintendo is in its own lower league and blitzing them both, and you dont see them comparing the wii to the 360 or ps3 since they are in a different leaguemonkeyd_93
