That sucks if they don't have new games.
There are TONS of games coming out in the next couple months that I want to play, but I can't afford to buy them all except the essentials (Fable II and Fallout 3 in my case) so I'm joining GameFly for the time being to get games I want, but can't justify buying ala Dead Space, Saints Row 2, Far Cry 2, COD 5, GoW 2, etc.
For anyone who is a gamefly member, are you pretty happy with it? I went for the one game at a time plan for like $16 a month, which I find pretty expensive but worth a try for a couple months. A good thing is that I see they have awesome prices on pre-playd games. Has anyone bought these and if so, what condition do the games come in and do they have a box, cover and manual?
The amount of games coming out in the next few months is almost becoming more of a problem than anything else haha. So many good games coming out.
Dead Space. Especially for Halloween.
Saints Row 2 is nothing more than a ghetto ripoff of GTA IV. Dead Space is actually creative and something different.
2K by a mile.
NBA 2K series is always leaps and bounds better than NBA Live, and 2K made the best NFL game ever in NFL 2K5, It was good in fact, that EA bought the NFL license to stop 2K from ever making another NFL game. If you can't beat them, just make it so they can't do anything.
It's really a shame they both come out within a week of eachother. I wish they were seperated by months to be honest.
For those planning on getting both, how are you gonig to approach them? Are you going to play them both at the same time, or are you going to spend awhile with one, then start working on the other? If so, which do you plan to start first?
I already have the SE of Fable II pre-ordered, so I'm going to work on that one and finish it first, then hopefully by the end of the year, I can get working o Fallout 3 because if it's anything like Oblivion, I'll be spending half a year with it.
This decision over which game to play first between these two does not suck. I'm just happy I'll get to play both one after the other. I hate finishing a game then not having anything you're looking forward to come out for months.
Every year I try both and every year 2K is better. I don't see that being any different this year.
Live is always just too arcadey for me. It reminds me of NBA Jam from the 90's while 2K always reminds me of the 90's versions of Live.
