That silly ending for the show should totally be applied to every medium ever. Specifically when

[spoiler] They try to tell the viewer that everything that ever mattered in their lives was the island and they should just die anyway and live in bliss because nothing is more important [/spoiler]

This should be applied to like, video games like Persona 3 or 4 where the characters learn more about themselves and defeat the villain. But they're still in high school right? Doesn't matter, nothing in their lives will matter as much, so they should just die there.

Movies? I don't know, I could pick any movie out of a hat, such as a spaghetti western with the hero riding of into the sunset. Just die, because nothing will be more important than him defeating those gang of crooks.

The movie Godzilla? Nothing more important than seeing a large lizard. Might as well just die since nothing in their life will be remotely important. King Kong? Same thing.

Seriously, I could go on and on with this. Color me surprised that the Internet did not take this silly gag, this idiotic ending and run with it.
