You can use the Dualshock 4 on PC and PS3. Plus it has been stated that their was no "street date" for the accessories, so stores can sell them the moment they get them.

On a console, the hardware and software are essential the same for everyone! You can use the hardware as efficient as possible because you know there are no variances.

On a pc, there are multiple video cards, multiple cpus, multiple drivers, and frankly it can be a pain in the rear to ensure a game works in all situations. And if the developer does not do this properly, the pc gamers come back screaming, "Cheap PC Port! Developers suck!" Not to mention to port a game to PC, you essentially "have" to design a control scream to work with keyboard and mouse (even if you can use gamepads, the developer still has to make the game work for keyboard).

Food for thought....if you removed all the games and revenue from things like facebook games, pogo, etc....how much is pc gaming really making?
