I have faith in Haley Scarnato

Although she was almost voted off American Idol last night, it came as a sigh of relief for native San Antonian, Haley Scarnato. :o

But, if she was voted off, I would be very unhappy right now.

Even though I've been neutral when it came to American Idol contestants making it to the finals in the past (i.e., Kelly/Justin, Ruben/Clay, Katherine/Taylor, etc.), this year going to be different because I have faith in Haley Scarnato of San Antonio, TX, and dammit she will advance to the finals.

Anyone who says otherwise, the viewers, Ryan Seacrest, or that tart Simon Cowell, will be damned.

If Miss Scranato's reading this, then I'm forever happy. :D

That's right, folks. Tomorrow night at 9 ET/ 8 CT, A&E will air the second season of Gene Simmons' Family Jewels. Make sure to set up your VCRs and/or DVRs so that you won't want to miss a second of season two. :D

CBS's hit nuclear drama, Jericho, to go on a ten-week hiatus

According to Zap2it.com, CBS will split the freshman season of the nuclear drama, Jericho, into two repeat-free segments. During that time, the sitcom King of Queens will air in it's place for the duration.

I couldn't believe the news when I first read it, but I hope that my family will tune into Jericho when it returns in Feburary.

EDIT: The hiatus will go into effect after the Nov. 29th airing.

Election Day Blues

Tonight's episode of Law and Order: SVU entitled Underbelly, will be pre-empted on WSAV for Election Day coverage starting at 10 PM ET, and I'm bummed because when I saw the ad for tonight's episode last Saturday, I thought to myself, "I don't want to miss this."

Well, OTOH, if I'm lucky enough, NBC will re-air said episode on Saturday. If not, then I'll have to wait until USA does so.

EDIT: OK, I made a mistake. Underbelly will air on Nov. 14th instead at 10 PM ET instead of this Saturday. I apologize for the confusion.

Downsizing E3?

NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! It's like killing off Gen Con or the San Diego Comic Con, but E3 is a annual video gamers paradise and they can't be kidding me like that. To the folks at E3: Please reconsider your decision.

At long last!!

Dallas, TX-based Funimation have acquired the rights to distribute Robotech: The Shadow Chronicles movie after a year of us Robotech fans being on pins and needles. The film not only brought back familiar RT voice actors such as Tony Oliver (Rick Hunter), Greg Snegoff (Scott Bernard) and Richard Epcar (Vince Grant) but includes Hollywood's best such as Mark Hamill (Star Wars, Batman: The Animated Series, Wing Commander) as Commander Taylor and Chase Masterson (Star Trek: Deep Space Nine) as Janice.

I hope that the film would come out before the end of the year.

From Warrior Princess to Cheiftan's Daughter, from '24' to 'The Sly One'
