Sure thing,

Well the Minotaur Tormentors where a problem until I found a way to bounce em when I was in hades. What I'd do is just wait till they attacked and then hit em with triangle.. that would cause em to bounce momentarily and then I just quickly jump and grab. I was very low to the ground but I could still air juggle em to death so they were no longer a problem.

As for teh hades satyrs.. yes I did use punt. Funny yous hould mention.. I was having some trouble at first.. timing it right in between the attacks and aiming it.. but I accidently knocked one satyr onto one of hte far platforms. So I only had to deal with one at a time :p. After that I just knocked em all out. It's quite a handy tool and it was quite satisfying to watch em go flying.

As for Ares, he was pretty much easy.. I died a few times to careless errors. At the beginning I had a bit of trouble telling the difference from when he pulled out his hammer to breath fire and when he pulled out his hammer to smash it on your head. Other times I'd just dodge in a bad spot, or would get greedy and try to hit him a few more times before his next attack.

In the end I would just hit him with 0 button and block.. after a while I'd get some more mana and launch an army of hades.. it takes a while but in the end he dies. I found the mini game at the end to be a bit problematic at first cause I was tired but then I got that down right. His patterns are relatively easy.. it's just that if you lapse in concentration you get skrewed big time.

As for the clones... well.. the hardes tpart I found was the release. By that I mean... I tried to do the shinobier method and what would happen is... Kratos takes a second to let go of his family.. and in that one second the clones would just rape me. The army of hades jsut didn't last long enough.. so it took a good while for me to really get the timing down right... like 8 hours. I get the impression that if I had a huge health and mana bar (that is if I collected all the eyes and feathers) it would have been pathetically easy cause I could just launch army of hades as many times as I would need to until rage of the g-ds recharged.

Lemme know if you need any more details.

Cheers,

Sam

One more Update:

I have now passed the whole game in G-d mode. Yes I upgraded for the clones and all.. but it was still damn hard considering I was doing it with a tiny health and mana bar. I actually passed it the first time and was about to save.. and the DAMN THING FROZE ON ME. I had to spent like 8 hours today trying to pass it twice... twice damnit. Holy hell those clones are so **** annoying... *curles up in a fetal position*.

Ok.. so I do all thsi **** and all I get is a phone number... BAH. I've wasted all this time just for that one save point.... *sigh*. Oh well.. now I'm gonna go and hang myself. Till next time :p

Cheers,

Sam

Mystry: Yeah I did take a shot at hte clones but I got killed pretty fast. Honestly, while one day I'm sure I will devote like 10 hours or so to attempting the nigh impossible feat of doing it with no upgrades.. at the moment I have no desire to do that. Shinobier and GMG proved it was possible, but even they admit that it's at best, 50% luck. As far as I'm concerned.. it's an exercise in masochism to do it over and over in the hopes of having the 'stars align' as GMG put it.

I do have GoW2 though, and I've never passed it or played it. So what I'm going to do is go back and play that game nice and leisurly (although I think I'll probably start on hard mode :P) and play it at first with all the upgrades that I can possibly get my hands on :P. And then I'll do a NUR in Titan Mode :D.

Cheers,

Sam

Wow... so I just finished the harpy conveyor belt.. no magic used.... after four damn hours!

My g-d I hate that part. I tried doing the shinobier method, and oddly enough I was having more trouble getting to that point where you gotta plume all the harpies than actually pluming the damn harpies! Finally what I did was.. I skipped the middle skellis (the ones that spawn 3 times) and just killed the skellies on the first platform, and then quickly moved to the end. The skellies in the middle can't shoot you when you're there because the angle of the conveyor wheels prevent their arrows from hitting you.

A few tries of that and voila.. done and done.

I did notice a couple of glitches. Sometimes when I would grab a zombie and tap square, kratos would let em go and start just hitting em normally.. which got me killed...alot.

And after all that trouble .. what do I get for it? a frickin pillar through the chest... damn ares. Oh well. I'm in hades now... I'll keep you all posted. Ares is next :P

UPDATE:

NUR+ GODMODE HAS BEEN COMPLETED! I got the Final Battle Save point and I also beat Ares 1st form with no upgrades. The R1 Artemis abuse was goooood. Thanks for that one GMG.

Do I need any proof of completion? How do I get my NUR+ completion sigs? Please lemme know

Now I'm gonna go get some nice sleep. Till next time.

Cheers,

Sam

UPDATE:

Alrighty, where to begin. I got all the way to the crane room with the cyclops and breeders. Most annoying part .... fighting the skellies and satyrs in the room before you get the ruby necklace. That fight took me a looooong time to figure out.. 3 frickin hours I spent trying to figure out how the hell to get through that.

Finally I just spamed the square button and kept knocking the skellies away until they were all dead. Then (thanks for this one BigVee), I used the artemis abuse on the satyr. I noticed that when you knock em up in the air, when they fall you have a few seconds to pummel em. You hit R1 and then triangle again and you can basically keep em immobile the whole time while you pound away...this is assuming you don't have any ledge to knock em off of.

Anyway.. the seeder and cyclops fight is probably going to be annoying. I'm gonna try the shinobier tactic, but if it doesn't work too well.. I'll just stand behind the door and pummel the breeders with the blade of artemis till the bastards are all dead.

Till next time,

Cheers,

Sam

UPDATE:

Ok, got through the centaur sacrifice room pretty easily. Only took about 3 tries.. no magic used. What did give me alot of trouble is now my third most hated monster.. the armored minotaurs. It's almost impossible to get those bastards into the air... they block all attempts to do that. Soo... after a dozen or so tries I was finally able to kill em by spamming the R1 on the blade of artemis. Now.. if it's just one minotaur that's fine.. cause I can just homerun them off a ledge.

One question though: How do you control where the minotaurs go flying when you homerun them. Cause I hit L1+/_ , and then I hit it again but alot of times the minotaurs went flying in the opposite direction.. that is.. behind me. Any tips?

Cheers,

Sam

UPDATE:

Ok, cleared the cerberus breeders. I pretty much just used gorgons gaze and whipped out the blade of artemis to crush the rock faster. The rest of the time I just whipped the puppies into each other (thank Booya). I did it once without magic but honestly.. I have no idea how shinobier is able to keep track of all the dogs and who has to die first.

It took a few tries to also push the sacrifice up the platform. The legionaires spawn very fast and the air juggle takes some time. I managed to do it in the end.. no magic used. So that's a plus.

Just got the trident and I"ll continue tommorow. Is shinobier even on these forums :P. Him and GMG outta write a book :D.

You can kill any other sirens with OH after the desert. The problem is getting em up in the air and throwing that harpoon at em enough times before the others hit you with something. I'd suggest being patient and smacking em with plumes and whatever else to whittle away their health. When you get to the crank room in pandora's temple later on, You might want to consider making good use of Zeus's Fury as well. They can't dodge the bolts and it kills em pretty fast.

Ok guys,

Now I'm stuck. I got to the part with the cerberus breeders, and I just spent 3 hours trying to do it and with or without magic.. I get screwed.

How the hell do you keep track of which puppies are fresh, and which ones need to be killed asap. Anyone got any strats for this part?

Cheers,

Sam
