I can't see them just dropping all their EA Big series, they'll surely pass it on to the next most appropriate development group.

Since this is a choice thread....

My birthday is coming up, I've had a PS3 before but I really want one again. I have a choice: Wii, PS3 or a bunch of Xbox 360 games. What'd be the best choice?

PS3. Might sound biased, considering we're in a PS3 forum, but I own all the systems and I now regard it as my primary console. Don't even think about getting the Wii! Really not worth it. So, a PS3 or 360 games, definitely the PS3. It's great owning both systems.

I'm actually tempted to check out the Shaun White game, just because I miss the snowboarding concept so much. Heck, tomorrow I'll re-buy SSX3 and Tricky. All this SSX5 talk is getting me hyped up for a game that hasn't even been announced (yet). I can dream...

Things I'm hoping for...

• Tiger Woods style character customization.
• Classic levels, like Tokyo, remade.
• Bring back some of the old characters.
• Keep it an SSX game, let's not go down the simulation route.
• Make the online multiplayer a big part of the game, please!

I'd even be over the moon if they said they were to remake Tricky, but there's even slimmer hope of that happening.

i think you forgot to add one of the most important things: great music, like they normally have.

It's something that I now expect from SSX games. It's also great how they had the music slowly vanish when you're flying high in the air, then it would quickly hit back again when you landed. Little things like that made the SSX games so great.

I try to play for fun, but then I always got those achievements in my face taunting me *Lulz You never got 1000GS in Mass Effect, u luus* I I have them for PS3 *Lulz, we're teh tr0phiez*

I completely agree. One of the reasons why I made the switch to the PS3 was to get away from all the achievement competition rubbish. People become really competitive over achievements, and compare them as if they show skill, when it is just a pointless number that I couldn't care less about. Maybe trophies won't fustrate me as much, but if people start saying how having more trophies means you're a better gamer, it definitely will fustrate me.

I want eight but I'll probably only end up getting four (I'm on a low budget). The eight games I do want are Naruto Ninja Storm, Sonic Unleashed, FF13, FF13V, White Knight Stories, The Last Remnent, Little Big Planet, and Star Wars:TFU.shadowlusterx

Before this year is done? FF13 and Versus will be a late 2009 release most likely.
