[QUOTE="Samox"]I have played Wii shooters. None of them ive been very impressed with. I could definitely see the Wii controller being awesome for first person shooter's if they spent some time on them. Most Wii shooters are pretty dull, It just doesnt seem like they spend enough time with them. I'd be more than happy to see this game get a good rating. I guess im just pessimistic.

And no, im not a 360 or PS3 fanboy. I own a 360 and a Wii. Ive just been frustrated with how terrible the Wii games are lately, and how it's basically become a dust collector.. atleast for me.sportdude6

I agree that most have not been given enough time in development and therefore the games themselves are not too great, ie far cry vengeance. However, I think that there is promise in the genre for Wii, if you look at the progression of shooters that have come out and see them get better andbetter (red steel>far cry>MOH vanguard>MP3>MOHH2...). Though they have not all been good games by any means, I think it is a production issue in every case except two, where MP3 I think was a quality game and red steel was a first outingand must be judged as such.

I also own the Wii60 combo Sam and admit that I have spent more time on my 360 as of late, but still, you cannot say that the Wii itself sucks for fps, because that is simply not true. MP3 worked great, as did MOHH2 control wise. It just works, but devs have not given the genre the time of day. Conduit should be better.

Yeah, I suppose I should have worded my first post better. The Wii is not a terrible system. Super Mario Galaxy and Brawl are 2 of the better games to come out recently. But as far as the shooters go, there hasnt been any real reason for me to pick up any FPS's for it. They just don't seem like they can compete with the other console shooter's. But who know's man. As cynical as my post was, I hope they can pull off a decent shooter. Just as of right now, i have no reason to believe they will.

If you're looking for a decent shooter, get a 360 or PS3. The Wii's control's are absolutely horrible for them. The only decent shooter availiable on the Wii is RE4. Which was better on gamecube anyway.

Of course The Conduit is going to be mediocre... like the majority of Wii games.
