Isn't this the same company the missed almost every sales prediction for their games over the last few years. I believe predictions from people that accurately predict things instead. Thanks Capcom.
Also, I like the physical disc. The only way I would go digital is if they brought down the price, vs the physical disc. I don't get why Diablo 3 is the same price as the disc when it takes less effort, overhead, packaging, and man hours to produce and distribute.
EA: "If I say somethig enough times, it will be true...If I say somethig enough times, it will be true...If I say somethig enough times, it will be true..."
EA please keep your opinions and predictions to yourself. I personally don't always want to play with someone else online, while driving my car to work, to get an extra in game item that is meaningless. I want to be in an immersive single player environment with the option of connection, maybe. Thanks anyways
With all due respect. Please make games and stop with the commentary. I like discs. I like manuals. I like box art. I like little extra codes that come with it. I won't pay 59.99 for a game digitally if I can get the game with all of the above for the same price. Now if digital games were substantially less expensive (especially considering there is minimal overhead) then I would buy into that.
Maybe I am a minority in gaming but I work with people all day long as a counselor. When I get home and play a game, I don't want to play with other people. I enjoy a rich single player gaming experience.
The focus on multiplayer, social gaming, and community gaming is a turn off for me.
I thought the first three games were as Jade Raymond describes, but the last two games have been easier to go in and start shooting. Especiallly with the mark and execute ability. It looks cool but it made the game way too easy. Conviction had so little deoth and investment (from the gamer) that it was not memorable.
Chaos theory. When you have to get through a level undetected. That's difficult. Bottom line: The Splinter Cell games have gotten easier because Ubisoft Montreal has added action elements that water down the tension and espionage style of the game.
How about putting those developers to work on fixing glitches and bugs or a minute one patch?
How about releasing it later so I don't spend 80 to 100 dollars on day one? I'm cool with Day One DLC if it's free. At least give me the illusion that I am saving a buck. Also, I don't buy DLC unless the game is awesome. Day One DLC makes me think I don't have the complete product.
It's like buying a car without a paint job or carpeting. No thank you. I guess I will have to be self controlled in the future.
@coop36 @bielzabob @MjnE @SamuraiSeven What about Illumiroom? That was kind of cool looking. It won't come with the NETBOX but it' may cause me to get one.
