How about opening all the old countries in TES. I read an article a while back about a modder who no-clipped Skyrim and found the entire known TES world was available. It would be cool if they plugged in all the areas of all the games and used Skyrim as the jumping off point.
Even if they did each one in DLC seperately. I would "stand up and notice" that.
It seems to me that we are pushing for diversity which means there is a concious effort to be inclusive. No game or genre can be all inclusive. Someone is going to be excluded as a result. Some sub-group is going to be offended. I've played several games with content I do not like but I am happy as long as I have a choice to avoid that content.
If you want to have a same sex marriage in skyrim or mass effect. You should be able to choose to do so as long as it doesn't detract from the game. I won't personally make those choices but God gave me free will to choose what he thinks is best on my own.
Passing thought. It would be cooler if the consequences of those "mature" choices were reflected in the game also.
@s2i2p2i2o @SamuraiSeven The PS3 version froze right after I beat the Alpha Ceph. I liked the story and the gameplay and was planning another play through until that happened. It was fun and the levels allowed for more tactical planning and stealth.
Yes. It's beautiful. Right up until it locks up on you after you kill the Alpha Ceph. Major let down. Apparently it's happening to quite a few Crysis fans. (75% according to one of their customer service reps. (That stat was found on mycrysis forums))
It seems, based on all the reports I read on game company financials, making video games requires a large team of highly paid individuals with very specific skill sets. It seems most company's lose money unless it is a AAA title. Then after it becomes a AAA title, the company's expand and eventually lose money after they "get too big for their breeches." Making games appears to be a gamble. This is eveidence by the countless companies downsizing and closing down studios.
I'm game for more OldRepublic or a new timeline. The two trilogies are kind of played out and the fans seem to hate changes in the timeline of the two trilogies. There's also some merit to a New Republic 1000 years into the future
News Flash! The future is not the future of gaming. All games are like stars. Vids were created months if not years before their light is ever seen by players. So technically, video games are the past. No matter how they are delivered.
On a more serious note, I wish Video Game companies would stop predicting the future. No one knows what the consumers are going to do in the future.
