Yah. But it already got really hot. I'm so paranoid about this though. Every couple of seconds i feel the back of it to see if its hot and it was really hot. I guess i'm paranoid because the previous one i had overheated a lot.

got a new xbox elite and it gets real hot. my A/C is set to 77 degrees and it has a good ventilation. But it heats up after 40 or so minutes. I'm afraid of the RROD greatly. Am i to worry?

Call them and ask them to clean your lines. They can usually reset your connection and it improves somewhat. You have the same connection as me. You download speed is def lacking a bit, mine usually goes up to 1.2 or so if im not mistaken. Dante2710

Horrible huh? My ping is supposed to be 109. How can it just raise like that so suddenly?

So i'm 15 and really don't know how to do any of this stuff. I asked my parents if they could call the ISP and see what the deal is and they just won't do it. They think its just a little error that the ISP is having and it would be fixed momentarily. Well, its been decreasing throughout the whole weeks o i'm starting to think its not a problem with them. So, either help me out to get my parents to figure this out for me, or you can explain what i can do to get this problem resolved.

Christmas is in a couple of days and when i get some new games i don't want my connection to be as horrible as it is on Xbox Live. Help me please?

This is not the same post. Its a comparison. Also, if i recall, Avenger was the ONLY person that actually helped me in my previous post.Most of it was just questions and arguing and saying "Well my ping is 23ms HAHAHA" Really? I don't care. Read this one. This one makes much more sense. Maybe if i had mature people giving decent answers. I wouldnt have to clarify the same post over and over again. But this one is well different. I'm sure if you were in my shoes you would be a little worried too.

My ping is usually 109. But this week it has been crap lately. Its 156 and only stays around there. I have a feeling its not going to change anytime soon. Is it good enough? I dont want my connection to ruin my fun on Christmas when i get MW2. Dont be mean. Unless your totally sure, dont say something negative.

Just so you know, theres a lot of great stuff to do outside of your house in the real world. Trust me. I play an hour to two hours of video games a day at the most, and I usually only play on 2 or 3 days of the week, so thats like what, 3 to 4 hours a week, at the most. All the best things in life aren't part of video games - my friends, my family, my car, everything. I just use games when I want to chill, or do something with my friends after doing everything else possible. You need to play less games and get outside. Trust me. You wont regret it.
