I'm definately not. I should have withdrawn from school this semester (do to various life crisis) but didn't, like an idiot, and so I've backed myself into a corner here at the end of the semester. Anyway. If anyone could help me out with this, I'd appreciate it.
Looking at the increase in nicotine levels from 1998(1.72mg) to 2004(1.89mg) here. One question left to answer. "Take the 1998 average as your base level. Then perform the appropriate hypothesis test if the nicotine level has increased since 1998. Assume the data is normally distributed. Show your steps. Then, compute the p-value for this test."
If any of you know how to tackle this and can help me out, I'd really appreciate it.
