Yeah its a good game easily one of the best out there for the price. My favorite class is the scout most of the time unless I absolutely cannot do any good with him for example when sentries are spammed all over the place.

The two s tories are way different and completely different. Deus Ex had a much better story anyways.

Plus i never liked allied assault for the single player or multiplayer.

The game still sucks on either console. Should be a 4.0 in my eyes.

[QUOTE="SavageRaph"]Ive been playing games since i was 5 and I am 23 now. Im starting to lose alot of interest in alot of games and I think i know why.

The gameplay in 90 percent of games nowadays is just complete crap. I just started playing prince of persia for 360 and I couldnt take it after 30 minutes. The entire game is just so damn stupid. Seriously my nephew who is 6 years old having no problems with the difficulty cuz there is NONE. He is like 4 hours into the game. You dont die no matter what. Seriously even if u get "killed" you come right back and the boss or enemy has the same health. The combat is simple button pressing to get simple combos that are really just actual movies.

Fable 2 has absolutely no difficutly at all same with almost exactly the same issues. Bioshock is the same way. I could probably name a bunch of other disappointments that I just wont bother mentioning. But these days when i play a game I feel like im being treated like a baby there is no diffuiculty or punishments in games anymore. I think there is a REALLY big problem when many TOP and "mature" games can be played by 6 year olds. Am I really the only who feels this way? I honestly dont feel like im playing games anymore but instead interactive movies..... most with bad stories too.

The gaming industry to me has taken a turn for the worst. Kinda like hollywood with all flair and no substance in movies. and aiming at nothing but casuals.

You get killed and you come right back? uh call me crazy but don't you do that in all games? The only thing different in PoP is instead of game over screen, reload and restart at a checkpoint. You get a small cinema and restart back at a checkpoint. Now once again call me crazy but that seems like the exact same thing, minus the tedium of reloading. And yes some games are easier because a balls to wall Contra on 3 lives experience is not what they are trying to do. Due to advancements in gaming technology and media trends developers can now do more with a game besides give enemies near infinite number of hit points, long levels without checkpoints and other difficulties we were often burdened with in the old days.

They can develop something to be artistic like Prince of Persia, or Okami, or atmospheric like Bioshock and Dead Space, or to tell an engrossing story like Metal Gear Solid or Zelda. Things that we never got back in the old days of gaming. Another thing that makes game easier is the fact that now in alot of games you can do what you would really do, there aren't as many limitations as there use to be. Like in the old days you would have to jump with the perfect timing and land in the perfect spot and duck at the right time. Now a days you have much more freedom in your choices so you aren't tied down to the trail and error ways of the old school. So before you decide to condemn the industry take a look around and grasp the world around you and the reasoning behind these changes.

The thing is I dont want to go back the old NES days either cuz they realyl werent THAT great. What I REALLY want is the reasonable difficulties and strategies back. I want my System Shock back. I want games like Deus Ex back. or how about crono trigger? There are so many others that are also fantastic and didnt treat players like they were morons.

The real problem is developers are trying to make huge sums of money off of people by making games way too easy and have no depth or variety. So what do people do then? They finish the game and move onto the next one and keep buying more and more crappy games that are bought for no reason but hype. I want REAL games back not 6 hour "video game" movies where I just press some buttons to justify a 60 dollar price tag. Its a conspiracy to slowly make the video game industry into a mass market cash cow. Anyone who disagrees is blind.
