To me, E3 was a major disappointment. Outside of the FFXIII for the X360 announcement, there was no big news. Hell, I don't even care about that. Though I own both a X360 and PS3, I'll get it for the PS3 if I do buy the game. Some things did look good at the convention though. inFAMOUS, Star Wars: The Force Unleashed, and PoP have me really excited.
Orange Box shouldn't have even been thrown into this comparison since it is known that the PS3 version was a half-@ssed port. Barely any effort was put into make sure it was a clean conversion that was at least equal to the experience on the 360. Come on GS, you all know better than this. *shakes head in disgust*
I thought your game coverage was good, especially the Live Stage demos. But I don't know. This year's E3 just didn't bring the excitement factor like all the past ones did. Maybe I'll grow into it over time. If the new format survives long enough.
I agree pretty much with everything Jeff G said. I definitely think that these "different" PS3's touching down in Europe will eventually be making their way to all the other territories (including North America and Japan).
