@HKILLER88888 It's not the first time DLC gets reviewed, but yes it's rare. The thing is the DLC can be a lot worse than the game. You don't review the game as a whole, you just focus on the additional content that is offered. For Borderlands 2 your review is about the game that you pay 60$ for, for this DLC the review is about the content you get for the 10$ you need to invest in it.
@electronicoffee Look, you can make all the assumptions you want about me or my age (you're far off btw) and that's your call. I'm glad to see that there's a common agreement about this matter and you can obviously act like everybody that's not on your side must be a retarded infant, but even you should realize who comes off as childish in that regard. Feel free to continue this tirade of expletives, I will "sit here and feel validated all I want".
@electronicoffee Simply put, all of the above just underlines what I said. I am not interested in returning your feeble insults, just like I'm not interested in your (wrong) perception of what free speech is supposed to enable you to do. If you feel like the restriction of certain terms restricts your ability to express your opinion, I truly pity you. Then again, you've already shown that open discourse is an impossibility for you without these phrases, so my pity is yours.
@electronicoffee No, it's not the world and no it's not acceptable. You don't have to let people be themselves, if they are obviously terrible. (No, we don't need to discuss if racism is acceptable)
Why should we let everyone be who they want to be? Why shouldn't the world and the people you meet in it challenge you to become a better person? The game doesn't tell you not to get angry, it tells you that there's a line that you can't cross no matter how p**sed you are.
Last but not least, we all know that most of these lads wouldn't even open their mouth if they stood in front of you, because there'd be consequences. "That's the world."
@Senor_Kami If you don't mind dated graphics, go for Masquerade Bloodlines and help yourself to a fix of proper Vampire lore, without bubbles and sparkles.
@q-bert39 Then again the 8800 Ultra was the high end card of the line up and the gtx680 is not. The high end card is the gtx690 which goes for around 880 pounds, which means it's 1k+ $
In principle I agree. Yet, looking at how pitiful their current games are, I can't help but wonder if that means we'll never get to see it remade.
Then again I don't really need an FF7 remake and I still don't get why everybody wants one. I played FF7 for the nth time a few weeks ago, finished it and slaughtered all the weapons. At no point did I think "Well, I'd like that to be remade".
It's really sad to some degree. I went down the game dev path as well, motivated by what that job entailed 20 years ago, when I started playing games. Now that I can finally work, the environment is not what I wanted to be part of all those years ago. On the other hand, a lot of stuff got easier and I feel like writing code is still not really easy, so maybe I shouldn't complain too much. ;)
@badstyle Additionally, I've recently read that only about 2% of the PC games being played, have actually been bought. While this is obviously a very low estimate, it's still reason enough for PC game development to slow down. It's a difficult world for us PC gamers.
