To clarify, I don't want to monopolize the industry. All I want to do is make an epic game.

I just want to know waht people want in a developer team these days, because I've seen wuite a few people throw some hate balls at these guys. Namely EA and Activision, but again, just want your opinion.

I've seen uncharted 2 as a masterpiece of a game, the way they had things happen. So why not Wolfenstein?

I will say I have to agree on that one. EA has made a number of good games, though I don't think I played either of the ones you're talking about. But overall, with the exception of some, the games EA produces are lacking something that I can't put my finger on. I'm sure dragon age has it, I've been wanting to try it for some time. If someone knows what that is, that'd be great.

My first RTS was C&C. The ORIGINAL C&C. By westwood studios. And if this were a poll on RTS games in general, and that were the choice, I'd pick that. But again, I pick Rome. Btw I grew up with C&C. Can anyone make a thread for this?

Well, yeah. EA is stupid like that. I have my own idea for a game and these days it's getting difficult to have something that's entirely original. My game does pull gameplay elements from a couple of games, I admit. And no, it's not even in production or anything. I still have to get a dev team started. Right now, the only thing I have is the second half of the game written down in paragraphs. But when it comes to originality, I think we can just give up on EA.

True. You shouldn't just focus on the flash when it comes to a game. Because you could have the crappiest graphics to date and the game has no bugs gameplaywise. But I think a good combination of both is what makes an excellent game, on these terms.

I can kinda see where he's going with that. personally I just decide to make my own review rather than follow what the critics say. Why? Well, for some odd reason, when a critic says something sucks, it's successful. At least 80% of the time. I still don't understand it. And screw EA!

Something like that happened to my friend's ps3. He had it on for a while and when he came bank to it, it just shut off. Wouldn't come back on. He's trying to send it to customer services to find out what's wrong. He has the 80gb model. You know, the black one that had the spider-man 3 writing on it.
