Now you are wondering how can this be? So was I, on the box it says 12gigs. The answer lies in the fact that games require certain universal files to be played. As such, other games require the same files. Bioshock and Call of Duty 4, are significantly less than what was advertised on the box.
Basically the 12 gigs are what it would be if Crysis was fresh installed into a machine without other games, or without the presence of those files. The PS3 and 360, don't have that ability, so in theory, if you could play Crysis on the PS3, you would need the 12 gigs.
