Soldiers is a generic term; however, the Marines' main purpose is Naval Infantry, which means amphibious warfare. It is the Navy that moves them around, whereas the Army moves its men with its own aircraft or with assistance from the Air Force.

You prove my point. Soldiers is a generic terms that why its applies both to the army and marines

1. Capitalize Marine. They are very proud of their title, and that should be respected. 2. Call a Marine a soldier and you won't get a kind response.

I've lifeguarded before, and had to do some "dynamic saves". Don't really expect anything. Knowing I did my job well enough to save someone is enough.

Besides WW2, I don't really recall Australia needing the support of the U.S.Lonelynight
