I am thinking of buying the PS3, but I am afraid of spending $500 on it if it is going to end up like the Dreamcast. Right now it looks like it is. System sales are low (they are getting better) no good games yet. Following the same path as the Dreamcast. I am afraid that in the next year, the PS3 will be over with and everyone would have wasted $400 to $600 on the system.

right now it is up in the air what will happen to the ps3 but imo it is not looking good, if the big games flop next year for it and hd dvd takes off with player being alot cheaper now then yes the ps3 will go like the dreamcast!

next year is a big hit or miss for it really.

The only thing I care about in Home is the Hall of Fame trophies. Standing in a lobby dancing with other guys doesn't appeal to me much. The whole MySpace feel to it, seems like unnecessary fluff, especially when it's essentially chick-less. this what i think anyway sony focus is on movie player and offline game if they have online great but they not bothered imo.

hey guys dont BASH me for this but i was a hardcore 360 owner and i just recently decided to get a ps3 instead cause of the games,microsofts **** garbage 360 community.I mean i have had it with microsofts 50 bucks a year online,overhype games like halo3,not enough disc space,RINGS OF DEATH,and stupid achievements.IM serious ppl act like **** with achievements.Who cares about them dont we play to enjoy the games.Oh if you say anything about GAYLO OMFG u will get bash every way possible.PLus games like uncharted,MGS4,Killzone2,Socom@ not to mention the amount of blueray discspace is looking good for SONY for 08.As for my 360 oh well the only reason i keep it was cause of GEARS hopefully it comes out for the ps3 thats the only good thing I'll remember about the JUNKBOX.Psychocensory
