No. The Bible is very clear as to what it takes to get into heaven.slateman_basicyup. the only problem is the people who are too insecure to follow those simple rules and so they get offended and choose to not to believe. they think theyre too good for such a generous gift of salvation. :P too bad.
[QUOTE="Sephir0th_"] in a glass right next to me and in those ice glaciers down south and up north.Hewkiiso there's enough water in the glaciers for seas to rise 30,000 feet? lol im not disagreeing with you on the whole waters thing. im not agreeing either. You see, the flood has NOT been disproved by any physical evidence. not ever. Im not so sure if it has been proved true though, it might have been - im not going to say somethng without knowing for sure. But, secondly i have proof it did happen though - faith. lol
[QUOTE="Sephir0th_"][QUOTE="Hewkii"][QUOTE="Sephir0th_"]1. That is not proper logic, give me a point in biblical scripture that is inconsistent. If you are too sure that your correct, you will have no trouble finding this. ;)-Karayan-the water in the floods. Thats not an inconsistency, because nobody can prove that wrong yet. As it stands the bible is still 100% correct. Nothing historically has ever disproven it. history and science has only served to strengthen it or cast doubt on it. Well, it's been disproved the earth is 6000 years old, that there is no way that much water can fall from the sky in that little time, that the plagues in Egypt were by gods hands but a set of events created by eroding red clay, and they didn't part the Red Sea but the Pharaohs chariots got stuck in the swamp where as the unmounted slaves had no problems, Jesus Christ broke the commandments by worshiping John the Baptist, there have never been giants, the "stars" can't fall from from the sky as they are other suns, there is no heaven in the sky as we have scanned every square centimeter of it. Need I go on? lol yeah cause its a lot older than only 6000 years old. Hold on a moment, God transcends time - time is meaningless to god... he is everywhere at all times. The way the bible was written, the text, is not written in a way that is plain as day to us. Ever read shakespeare? hard to interpret. Time is not mentioned in the bible. Just how many years of age in genesis and exodus. Before i go on, you are trying to argue your point which is steeped in physical or hard logic. The truth is that there are 2 logics to God - physical/science and faith. Funny how no one considers faith as an option. So, physically looking for a heaven is going to be pointless.

[QUOTE="Sephir0th_"][QUOTE="-Karayan-"][QUOTE="sheridan891"]Hey, I long for hell, and chance to speak with Plato, Ghandi, Isaac Asimov, Gene Roddenberry, J.R.R. Tolkien, Aristotle. Go have fun in heaven with Pat Robertson.[QUOTE="-Karayan-"][QUOTE="Sephir0th_"] But, do know that not everyone can be saved on this earth, -Karayan-
oh please. You redicule others beliefs, but you have none of your own. Have fun with your life, because regardless of whether there is a God, its going to be all you've got. You either die and cease to exist, or you enter some kind of horrible afterlife. Either way, you'd better enjoy life, because its probably not going to get any better for you.
I beg to differ my friend, I'm going to study psychology, get a nice job, a house, a wife. I am going to enjoy every moment of life as much as I can, while you waste your time preparing for an afterlife which doesn't exist. I will not deny anyone rights based on their sex, race or sexuality. I will not tell people they will burn in hell if they do not follow their believes. I will not tell anyone to disregard logic and science and just have faith. I will most certainly enjoy life, and it will get better everyday till the day I die for every day I will value it more. There is no need to prepare foran afterlife existing or not. I beilive there is a heaven ora domain somewhere out there and that when believers die they take their place next to God in heaven. Im not uptight about religion and am not "mobilizing" or "getting all my bases taken care of" so to speak. I believe and that is all there is to it. Well go right ahead, as long as you're not obstructing gay marriage or indoctrinating your children or anything like that I don't care what you believe, whatever makes you get through the day. right on bro! :D
