Within reason yes, but if it became completely legal etc then a lot of people would be getting themselves cut up because of debt and/or other financial reasons..

So i'm currently on a working holiday (From the UK) in Whistler, Canada.

Whistler Mountain opens tomorrow (12 days early) so i figured i'd make a post to see what everyone thinks about snowboarding / skiing in general, your views and/or experiences etc.

Fire away!

It's to put your house key in when you go out drinking, so that you don't lose it while dancing like an idiot :)

When you get here try poutine. :D

Lol okay, what exactly is poutine? Im too lazy to google it..

It's french fries, gravy and cheese.

I know you may not think it looks good but it actually tastes awsome.

It's exactly like the kind i'd order after night out drinking! We Brits aren't so different :p

You know when life just gets a bit too routine and you feel as though you want to do something interesting? Well this is my 'something interesting' lol Although i met my current girlfriend 2 months ago now and i'm going to be devestated to leave her behind :/ But i've put WAY too much into organising this to back out now.

Make sure you call every Canadian you see American.

I heard they love that.

I don't even live there yet and i get offended when my friends say things like 'Well there just Americans really aren't they..' or 'Americans celebrate that kind of stuff' etc etc

I live in Vancouver as well. Lived here most of my life, then lived in Ontario for 3 years, then lived in Bristol, UK for a bit over a year. Now I'm living in Vancouver again. [QUOTE="Luncbox1"]Awesome! But when you come over, find a pub that actually has good beer, because most have Molson Canadian and Keith's crap. Paladin_King
Keith's isn't bad. Certainly not bad enough to be put in the same sentence as Molson Canadian! That said, I rarely order Keith's. Rickard's = king of Canadian beers. Red, white, honey brown, it doesn't matter. Each is good in its own way.

Well luckily i prefer spirits ;)
