In an article I read they were testing a remake on the DS but the technical setbacks made them not want to, but with the 3DS they said they are considering making Final Fantasy V and VI remakes for the system. It seems like a great possibility because they recreated VI for the GBA, rerealesed VI on Wii Virtual console, and they remade 3 and 4 for the DS, so it is very likely.FPS1337

Yes, I also heard about this (from here, actually. I think it was in the FFV/VI board). But anyways, a remake for FFV/VI would be remastering the game itself! I mean, imagine the world of FFV/VI in 3D... AND 3D! lol
