There are already three 9/10 reviews, this is first one that is bad. Let's wait for 7 more days and we shall see how this game turns out.

But 15 FPS even on minimal settings - sure, if you play the game on a toaster.

This is only my third review but looking for opinions on my performance

The review is pretty good, and you even maybe convinced me to buy the game, but...

1) It's kinda too long :P

2) You should get a better mic

I decided if i manage to sell my current rig for some nice cash, to buy a new one.

Current rig ---------------------------> Possible upgrade

>Muskinh DELUXE 64GB SSD-------------------> Gona keep it for next rig

> GTX460 SLI Golden Sample -------> ASUS GTX560TI SLI
> ASUS P6T--------------------> Gona decide on the motherboard when B3 hits
> 3x2gb patriot viper 1333--------------> 4x2GB DDR3 Kingston Genesis PC1600 (8 in total, because they are very cheap here)
> 640GB WD 6401AALS BLACK --------------> 1 TB SAMSUNG HD103SJ
> Cooler Master HAF 922 --------------------> Cooler Master HAF X
> Chieftec 750W -----------------------------> Chieftec 850W
> ASUS XONAR DX ----------------------------> Not decided
> NOCTUA NH D14 ----------------------------> Same

Would i get an at least 25-30% boost in perfomace?

Also, dunno if i should buy GTX560TI in SLI or get one GTX580 and pair it in SLI in 5-6 months?

ASUS P6T

I920 @ 3GHz

[QUOTE="Serbiann"]

Ok , big problem . I get black screen / freeze or CTD in SC2 every 10-15 minutes ( if i am lucky lol ) .

I run it on this hardware :

NVIDIA GTX 285
Intel Core i7 CPU 920
6GB DDR3 Ram
Windows 7 64 bit
Asus P6T

I tryed defragmenting , registry clean up , updated all drivers ... but nothing helps , always the same thing . I tryed older drivers , nothing changed . It doesn't matter if i play on Ultra High settings or very low , it always freezes .

Then i tested many other games ( Mass Effect 2 , Mafia 2 demo , L4D2 , company of heroes ) and didn't had a single problem .

I even reinstaled SC2 like a dozen times already lol . I tryed adding

frameratecap=60
frameratecapGlue=30

but it didn't help . Any suggestions ?

Did you try using v.sync? Maybe the you didnt change the code right with the framrate caps. Your rig is alittle better then mine, I have the same GPU, but I have had zero problems, then again I hate the game and dont play it much, but I did put in 4 hrs stright and has no freezes

Yes , i did try using v. sync and it didn't help , crashed after 1 minute lol .

Just check SC2 official forums , and it seems a lot of people have the same problem as me . Blizzard responded that they will fix the issue in the next patch ...

I have all 3 games .

From those , i would get GTA 4. It has the best story , solid MP ( not many people play it anymore though ) , long SP . . . MW2 SP last's around 4 hours , so don't get it if you don't care about MP . InFamous is good too , but i liked GTA 4 far more .

I would also suggest Batman : AA instead of Infamous . . .
