[QUOTE="Airw4ves"]Bought the Razer Onza TE and returned it the next day. The controller felt incredibly cheap in my hands and the triggers were uncomfortable. However, the XYBA buttons are really nice as they are quite responsive as compared to the regular buttons of a Microsoft controller and the non slip coating was a nice change. Others have had better luck with the onza though, so don't take my experience as a final verdict. I am currently looking at purchasing this http://www.avengercontroller.com/ I have heard great things about it, and besides the fact that it looks odd and takes a bit to get used to, it is supposed to be pretty sweet. As for other controllers, if anyone else has ideas please post em as I would like to explore other ideas as well That thing looks crazy. I don't know how someone could get used to that.
I played Gears and Gears 2 and never was really that impressed. They had a high production value and the campaign was a fun playthrough, but didn't have much replay value. I always thought the multiplayer was lacking, but to each his own I guess. I'm sure Gears 3 will probably impress a lot of people.
I've only purchased two games so far this year (Dragon Age 2 and Bastion), nothing else has really interested me. I am however, looking forward to Halo: Anniversary, Battlefield 3, and of course Skyrim. I think those will be the three best games of 2011.
Purchased it on launch day at midnight. I was the last person to get one. I was a freshmen in college, so as you can imagine I had almost no money. I basically spent every dollar I had to my name to get that console. Best money I ever spent...I didn't eat much for the rest of the semester, but it was totally worth it.
I see where you are coming from OP, but I do enjoy only being able to hear my friends and not deal with idiots. The "beatboxing, rap battling, and singing" is the most annoying thing in the world.
[QUOTE="doubalfa"]I have to go with General Knoxx's for Borderlands, it expanded the game around 12 more hours, included new enemies, class mods and rare weapons. Also Undead Nightmare was pretty good on RDR as it was an 8 hr campaign with some interesting additions like weapons and world events. What he said. One of the best, if not the best, DLC on any game...ever.
I read this earlier on IGN and it does indeed suck. I'm not a huge Porsche fan, but it is a crying shame that they are not in this game. I'm a Ferrari man, and I do believe Forza has publishing rights for the Ferrari brand. Ferraris FTW!
[QUOTE="doubalfa"]it has to be one of my favorite games this generation so is good news I guess, I'd make some changes in the game but the main formula is awesome. . Well of course there are things that I would like to see improved and added (more endgame content for one), but like you said, keep the same formula and it will be great.
